Green and Gold Card Program

The Green and Gold Card Program is intended to recognize students in Grades 10-12 who excel in key areas of the high school experience—in academics, in conduct, and in attendance or service.   Students will be recognized and awarded Green or Gold card benefits at the Fall Academic Awards Assembly according to the following criteria.

 

GOLD CARD STANDARDS

  1. Be enrolled in a minimum of three (3) courses each semester for the previous year
  2. At least 3 A’s each semester with no semester or year-long course grade below B
  3. No recorded infractions (academic, attendance, behavior, or discipline) during the school year
  4. No delinquent financial obligations to LCHS
  5. No more than 4 absences per class per semester OR submit a form that shows completion of 60 service hours or provides evidence of participation in a school sponsored sport, club, or activity that requires the student to participate after school hours (forms are available from the main office, school counseling, or the Testing Coordinator and completed forms are due to the main office by July 15th)

                               

Benefits will include a parking discount, admission to all home games for card holder, and 20% off of LC apparel purchases (limited to 3 purchases).

 

GREEN CARD STANDARDS

Benefits will include a parking discount, discount on all home game admission for card holder, and 10% discount on LC apparel purchases (limited to 3 purchases)

 

Green or Gold Card must be presented to enjoy certain benefits.  The administration reserves the right to revoke a card and suspend benefits from any cardholder who abuses its privileges.  Further, Green and Gold cards may be revoked at any time should card holder not be in compliance with any of the criteria as set forth above.

 

 Academic Honor Letters and Pins will be awarded annually at the Fall Academic Awards Assembly.  Awards will reflect yearlong academic achievement, good conduct, and community service.  Qualifying students will receive an Honor Letter their first year and an Honor Pin each subsequent year.  To earn the letter or pin, a student must meet the following requirements:
