Greetings Lions! I am extremely excited to begin my third year at Louisa County High School. My family and I have called Louisa County home for over 13 years and we absolutely love it here. It is a privilege to be able to serve our wonderful community in my role as Principal at Louisa County High School.
I have worked in and around the field of education for 22 years and have had a variety of experiences. I have worked as a special education teacher, high school & collegiate football coach, and a high school assistant principal and athletic director. I believe in being a lifelong learner, and I have been fortunate to attend some wonderful institutions. I received my Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University, my Master's degree in education from Virginia State University, and my certificate in K-12 administration and supervision from Longwood University. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Leadership Studies at the University of Lynchburg.
In addition to supporting students and teachers in the academic setting, I believe in fostering growth and development in all members of our school community. As we look to the 2026-2027 school year, I am honored to serve as an Assistant Principal at Louisa County High School and proud to be a member of TeamLCPS. As I enter my 20th year in education, I remain passionate about supporting students, staff, and families while helping create a positive and engaging school environment where everyone can succeed.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles, including math teacher, coach, Athletic Director, Testing Coordinator, and Assistant Principal. These experiences have strengthened my belief in the importance of building strong relationships, fostering a culture of high expectations, and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
As a parent of TeamLCPS, I understand the importance of a strong school environment that not only provides strong academic opportunities, but growth, accountability, and collaboration. Greetings, LCHS Family!
It is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to all new and returning members of the Louisa County Public Schools (LCPS) community. I am deeply honored to serve as Assistant Principal and consider it a distinct privilege to work alongside the exceptional students, families, educators, and stakeholders who make up our district. Being a part of TeamLCPS and this supportive community is both humbling and inspiring.
The 2026–2027 academic year marks my 23rd year in education and my 15th year as an administrator within Louisa County Public Schools. During this time, I have been fortunate to serve in a variety of leadership capacities, including Assistant Principal, Coordinator of Attendance and Truancy, and Principal of Louisa County Middle School. Before my administrative roles, I was a science teacher and coach at both the middle and high school levels in the Campbell County and Lynchburg areas.
As a fellow parent within TeamLCPS, I share a profound sense of pride in our school division. The continued achievements of our students and schools are a direct reflection of the extraordinary commitment and support consistently demonstrated by the Louisa County community.

Dear LCHS Families,
I am excited to begin the 2026-2027 school year with your student(s)! This year marks my 20th year in education, my 11th year as an administrator, and my 9th year with Louisa County Public Schools. I have called Louisa home for more than 18 years, and my two children proudly attend LCPS.
I have the privilege of serving 10th and 12th-grade students at LCHS. Additionally, I oversee our Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Physical Education/Driver Education programs.
Providing your child with a positive, memorable, and successful high school experience is my top priority. I am committed to doing everything I can to ensure every student feels safe, supported, challenged, and connected during their time at LCHS. I feel incredibly blessed to be part of this community and to continue supporting the tradition of excellence that makes this school division so special.

Hi LCHS family!
I am ready for another amazing year as an assistant principal at LCHS. The 25-26 school year will mark my 19th year in education. I have served as both a middle and high school history teacher prior to becoming an administrator. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Longwood University, graduating with a B.A. in History and a M.S. in Educational Leadership. I reside in Louisa County with my husband, two bonus boys, and our sweet chocolate lab!
This year, I will serve as the administrator of students with disabilities. I LOVE being a Louisa Lion, and look forward to another year of learning, growth, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our students!

This is my 23rd year as the Director of School Counseling at Louisa County High School. I graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Social Science Secondary Education in 1993. Additionally, I earned an M.Ed. in Middle and Secondary School Counseling (1997) as well as an Ed.S. in Administration and Supervision (2009) from The University of Virginia.
My counseling responsibilities include all Blue Ridge Virginia Governor's School (BRVGS) students. However, as with all of the counselors at LCHS, I am available to counsel and guide any student at this school.
I am the proud parent of a Class of 2024 graduate, a current senior, and a current sophomore at LCHS.
