Gold Card Student Incentive Program

(This program was formerly called the Green and Gold card program.)
Gold Card Program
The Gold Card Program is intended to recognize students in Grades 10-12 who excel in key areas of the high school experience—in academics, in conduct, and in attendance or service.
GOLD CARD STANDARDS
1. Be enrolled in a minimum of three (3) courses each semester for the previous year.
2. At least 2 As each semester with no semester or year-long course grade below B.
3. No recorded infractions (academic, attendance, or discipline) during the school year.
4. No delinquent financial obligations to LCHS.
5. Must meet one (1) of the following criteria: 1. In the previous year, has completed 60 service hours or was a member of a JV or Varsity team or a documented member of a school activity (i.e. band, theatre, or a school club, etc.) OR 2. No more than four (4) absences (regardless of reason) each period, each semester for the previous year.

Benefits will include a $10 student parking discount and free admission to all regular season home athletic events for cardholders.

The Gold Card must be presented to enjoy certain benefits. The administration reserves the right to revoke a card and suspend benefits from any cardholder who abuses its privileges. Further, Gold cards may be revoked at any time should the cardholder not be in compliance with any of the criteria as set forth above.
